This palace was built by Sawai Madho Singh in the 19th century and is converted into Museum displaying a wide variety of royal costumes like Pashmina Shawls, Benarasi Silk Saris, Sanganeri Prints, and other embroidery. Maharani Palace, the palace of queens, is also converted as a museum. This museum now displays Rajput weapons that were used during wars. You can also not miss the famous Chandra Mahal in Jaipur which is also literally known as Moon Palace. This is still occupied by the royal family of Rajasthan. The ground floor of this palace can be visited by the visitors. Rajasthan also boasts of the famous ‘Palace on Wheels’.
